maticulous “The Confluence” EP

“With his aptly named follow up project, the Brooklyn-based beatmaker by way of Pittsburgh comes together with an assemblage of his hometown emcees to bring you The Confluence EP. While the direction of the project keeps a traditional hip hop feel, rooted in boom-bap and soul, maticulous keeps it fresh providing a classic vehicle to drive this new wave of old school out of The Steel City.”

J Bizness “Destination” (Video)

“J. Bizness’ Flight Plan is well over 30,000 feet at this point. The instrumental album from the LA producer took off in August and has been exploring the skies since. Today, Mello Music Group and director Erick Lee share the visuals for “Destination,” one of the more introspective, almost somber cuts from the LP.

Airports and plane travel in general have always had a bit of an introspective element to them. They are places of connections, departures and arrivals. Playing off the dramatic vocal chop, pulsating drums and emotive synths, Lee visually matches the mood by seamlessly combining shots of the people and planes that make travel possible.

Like a plane taking off just at dusk, “Destination” is moody and cerebral. You can catch a connection to Flight Plan at your local independent music retailer and online everywhere.”

RunninWithIt.Com: The Right Script – Interview with Audible Doctor

Runninwithit.com recently did an interview with The Audible Doctor check it out below:

“Audible Doctor is quite a rare talent. Although known for his organic and smooth instrumentals, he is also an accomplished rapper and DJ as well. Appearing on many of his own singles, including “Success Part 1” featuring Chaundon, Audible Doctor is showing why he deserves his spot in the music industry. He recently released his FREE EP, entitled “I Think That…” which features brand new production from Audible Doctor and guest features from rappers such as Soul Khan, Chuuwee, Von Pea, Blacastan and many more.

Well known for his musical abilities, he has produced tracks for Consequence, John Legend and Joell Ortiz to name a few. After listening to one of Audible Doctors’ tracks, you will begin to hear why he is quickly becoming one of the hottest producers in the game. His beats are crisp, yet still retain a classic, old school vibe to them. He also stays true to sample’s that he uses, as each instrumental draws the listener back to its’ original inspiration. It’s kind of like squeezing an orange, extracting the orange flavor and then refocusing that flavor into something entirely different. However, the original hint of orange and the roughness from the peel always remain present.

Keep reading for the interview as we discuss his origins, production techniques, his musical background, where his inspiration comes from and what is coming in the future. Be sure to check out his latest EP “I Think That…” and show some love.”
