Jinesis just dropped a new joint…peep how he flipped the classic James Brown sample…
“The Mad Bloggers & Jinesis team up again to bring you Otisis Ep REMIXED. It’s a re-release of last years “Otisis” project where the producer tried his chops on some classic Otis Redding samples and created a solid instrumental project. This go around, he’s enlisted a few up & comers from local to international to add their lyricism to the beats. The first release is “This is how we do” from female artist C-Mone out of Nottingham, UK. C-Mone was featured most prominently on Mike Skinner’s (The Streets) album “A Grand don’t come for free”.”
“This is the first installment of JINESIS’ instrumentals. With Humerous skits, infectious beats and chocked full of Emotion, this is a concise representation of my person… my music”
“One of Jinesis’s first endeavors, The Coffee Shop (Vol. 1) was intended to be a companion of sorts to J. Dilla’s “Donuts” by utilizing some of the late producers same sample choices chopped differently. However, somewhere along the way, the project became it’s own stand alone project and alerted the online beat community to what Jinesis’s chops and drums were like.
An early work but definitely one of the projects closer to his heart, it’s been condensed and re-packaged for a more concise listening experience.”
This is the follow up to the first volume of jams Jinesis inaccurately described as music to read and relax to. This is music to slay your lady to between the sheets if you have one. Mood music, if you will. Albeit you can sleep to this if you must, but ultimately this is a collection of songs to set an ambiance whether alone of with someone special.
The final installation of Jinesis’s “I’ll Be” series is a perfect instrumental swan song for the producers free projects. Over the course of the last 3 years, hip-hop beatmaker and producer Jinesis has given away over 5 solid instrumental projects for free download. In that time and process he’s worked with quite a few indie emcees and singers and managed to get his name across the blogosphere. Devoting long hours in the studio, pouring time, money and effort into these individual labors of love to spread his message between kickdrum and snare, the following has been built. The dusty-fingered crate-digging, editing and chopping drums and loops, the scraping together for studio mixing and mastering sessions has all led to this moment. Humble beginnings aside, bigger goals are in sight. Looking to release his full length album this fall, Jinesis is releasing one last free project. After the success of “Otisis” and “I’ll Be” Gold Edition, Jinesis has decided to take it one step further. Progress in succession. To Go BEYOND. In his own words, “I’ll Be…Beyond”.
